Reviews and Ratings
I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The rooms, although comfortable, lacked soundproofing and offered a private Jacuzzi facing the lake, along with a beautiful fireplace visible from both the couch and bed. The location is fantastic, with a picturesque setting by the lake, making it ideal for a romantic or spa getaway. However, the dining experience was hit-or-miss with leftovers to contend with and higher prices. Overall, the facilities were adequate but had some downsides. In terms of value for money, it's a bit on the pricier side for what was provided.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel in Esterel for 2 days. The rooms were comfortable and well-decorated, boasting a beautiful fireplace visible from both the couch and the bed. They are still very gorgeous. However, there were some issues regarding talking too loudly about private information and the need for better communication about certain aspects like the fireplace in the room. The service offered valet parking, ski pass vendor assistance, a welcoming drink, and tours/ticket help, but there could be improvements in providing information without pressure tactics. The location was superb with a picturesque setting by the lake, yet there were some noise concerns in the dining room that affected the ambiance. Despite these, the surrounding countryside was very nice and comfortable. The dining experience was excellent but a bit on the expensive side, offering a good mix of healthy and traditional options. The facilities were enjoyable, providing everything one could need during their stay.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were nice with a big bath, fireplace, comfortable bed, and a small kitchen, they were too small without showers to rinse before going to the pools. The vapor room had an overpowering smell of essential oils. Arriving by 4 pm was expected, and the proximity to other guests was noticeable. The service, especially at Chais 58, was outstanding, with valet parking, a ski pass vendor, a welcome drink, and helpful tour/ticket assistance. The location, right on the lake, offered beautiful views, but being too close to the spas and pools could be inconvenient. The hotel was in a lovely area, especially with the lake and surrounding countryside, although having a car was necessary. The dining options had a good balance between healthy and traditional American breakfast choices, including a fresh egg station, but it was the only available meal, which could be limiting. Facilities provided such as valet parking, restaurant, ski pass vendor, and a welcome drink were convenient and added value. Valet parking, a ski pass vendor, a welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance were offered.
